Highlights
Second day of Hellfire 9. After a large thunderstorm the night before, we arrived to the edge of the salt flats to find Lake Bonneville had returned. We had to drive through several miles of salt water, but the launch site was dry. Weather was sunny, warm, not much wind. My first launch was the Silver Comet on a H180-10W, and the nose cone separated. Next was the big Iris on a M1939-W motor. It was a perfect flight to 8757 feet (the AltAcc 2C did not record data again). Then I flew the Javelin on a K695 Redline motor for a nice flight to 7237 feet. Next up was the Javelin again on a K1275 Redline motor for another nice flight to 9321 feet. My last flight was the Javelin (yet again) on a K550-W to 7197 feet.
